BOOK REVIEW: BLOODFEVER BY KAREN MARIE MONING

I don't know how I am going to tell my feelings about this book. The second book of the Fever series 'Bloodfever' is just as amazing as the first one. Even better than the first one. I gave the first book to 5-stars and I don't know what I am going to rate this book. So then I gave it 5-stars but if there is a 6 or more stars button in Goodreads, I will use it for Bloodfever.

First of all, if you haven't read the first book 'Darkfever', the review may contains minor spoilers from Darkfever.

Totally, this quote is one of my favorites from the book. We can't see Barrons-Mac scenes such as the first one and so when Barrons appears, I will be so happy because Barrons is one of my favorite character and he is so mysterious and sexy.

Mac is more powerful and stronger in Bloodfever, she has a new haircut and haircolor, she has obsessed with her revenge because of her sister 'Alina's murdered. I just hoped that she didn't hesitate about Barrons' safety. Because whatever happens to Mac, Barrons can find her and always help her. Despite this situation, Mac is just can't believe him.

By the way Melun's are always in the darkness and waiting for their victims. Lord Master did this to Meluns; he opened the door and allow Meluns coming to the world; Dublin.
And in the beginning of the book Mac and Barrons thought that Malluce is totally dead.

  • The difference between the first and second book is: Bloodfever is shorter and also includes more full-of-action.
  • Karen Marie Moning tell us nothing about what is Barrons and this annoyed and also interested me. I think we're gonna find out in the fifth and the last book.
  • I want more Mac-Barrons scene!! That doesn't enough for me. They are so cute despite they're always fighting. But you can see the strong bond between them.
  • Can I have Barrons? I allow you to have V'lane :))
  • I don't trust Rowena and V'lane. I think she should stay with Barrons.
  • When Malluce appears in the last 60 pages, I was shocked and sad for Mac but our hero came. :)

You should read this series as soon as possible!! This book is one of my favorites so far!!

BLACK DAWN by Rachel Caine REVIEW

FIRST OF ALL, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAINS SPOILERS SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED YOU HAVE TO SKIP THE PARAGRAPH WHICH WRITES SPOILERS AHEAD AT THE BEGINNING!

Morganville Vampires series is one of my favorite series and I couldn't put the book down when I finished. When I finished Black Dawn, I surprised and became upset because I read very fast and I just don't want it to became to end. This serie is so addicted and exciting. Morganville Vampires is the best! I recommended all people when they decided to start a new book. Some of my friends started this awesome series and they loved it too and now they are addicted to Morganville Vampires series like me.

This review may a little long for others because I feel so much feelings about this book.
First of all, I want to thanks to Rachel Caine for sharing amazing series with us, all the characters and awesome Morganville Vampires. They are all awesome.
Here we are. This cover is the Turkish edition of Black Dawn which is the Morganville Vampires Series' 12th book.
PLOT:
With its eclectic mix of vampire and human citizens, Morganville, Texas, has always been a risky place to call home. But with the invasion of the vampire’s deadliest enemy, Morganville isn’t just in danger—it’s dying…Ever since the draug—mysterious creatures that prey on vampires—took over Morganville, the lives of student Claire Danvers and her friends have been thrown into turmoil. Most of the town’s residents have evacuated, but Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael have chosen to stay and fight.Using the city’s water system to spread, the draug have rapidly multiplied. Things in Morganville look grim, especially since vampire Amelie—the town founder—has been infected by the master draug’s bite.
Now, if Claire and her friends don’t figure out how to cure Amelie and defeat the draug, it looks like Morganville will become little more than a ghost town…

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
First of all, Black Dawn is so emotional book for this reason I can't stop myself for crying. I don't get upset easily for the book but Black Dawn changes that.
In 11th book Vampires the worst enemies: Draugs came to Morganville and kill Claire. Claire is the one who see Magnus- the master Draug- so they don't know firstly who killed her. But then they escued her because of she turned a ghost and Myrnin saved her. At the end of the book Michael bite Eve but he could stop himself.
And in 12th book Black Dawn started Eve's madness and also sadness about happenings. But they can solve the problem with Michael.
In Black Dawn, Shane and Claire's relationship broke down because of Draug's attacking to Shane and they forced him to dream. I am so mad when Shane dreamed but then Shane got in it was a dream so they can't real. It was so bad because Draugs took Shane's reality for this reason Shane can't decide what is real or not. That's just so sad... :(

SPOILERS FINISHED!!!

  • I love Black Dawn because I love the Glass Houses gang. Michael, Eve, Shane and Claire are awesome friends I don't want to see them seperated I hope Rachel Caine didn't let that happen.
  • Shane is my favorite character because Shane has been through a lot of things but he is so strong to fight them but I don't want to see he became upset again because all of bad happens happened to Shane. Poor my handsome cute boy :(((
  • Black Dawn is Morganville Vmapires series' 12 th book there is total 15 books. I don't know what I am going to do when I finished this amazing series I just adored them so much :( Anyway, I guess I will start again when I finished the series because they are all awesome. :)

DARKFEVER BY KAREN MARIE MONING BOOK REVIEW

Look, I love Urban Fantasy. Really! But that's...amazing!! Fever is higher for my expextations and my thoughts. I add Fever into my favorites so far :)

I give five stars for this book. I want to say why:
1-Jericho Barrons: Do you surprise? I always loved bad boys in books. So we have a bad boy in Fever series! I will admit that he is so mysterious and you want to learn and curious about WHO is he! (Yes, I am too.)

2-Badass main character: I love Mac. She is powerful with pink clothes and she doesn't give up. I hate the characters who is always crying and begging for help and falling in love with some guy and acting like she is noone except him. So she never acts like that and I am so glad that Karen Marie Moning give us a stunning characters with bravery, mysterious and all about urban-fantasy.

3- Different mythologies: At first I don't understand the creatures and Kelt mythology but whatever..I am glad that learn other different mythology. Interesting :)

Well-written book with fantasy, mystery and full action.
I really loved this book and I have a second book- Blood Fever too. I can't wait for continuing Mac and Barrons adventure. More Barrons, please? :))
“I love books, by the way, way more than movies. Movies tell you what to think. A good book lets you choose a few thoughts for yourself.”- Mac

Dark Fever Plot:
MacKayla Lane’s life is good. She has great friends, a decent job, and a car that breaks down only every other week or so. In other words, she’s your perfectly ordinary twenty-first-century woman. Or so she thinks…until something extraordinary happens.

When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death–a cryptic message on Mac’s cell phone–Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. The quest to find her sister’s killer draws her into a shadowy realm where nothing is as it seems, where good and evil wear the same treacherously seductive mask. She is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to learn how to handle a power she had no idea she possessed–a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae….

As Mac delves deeper into the mystery of her sister’s death, her every move is shadowed by the dark, mysterious Jericho, a man with no past and only mockery for a future. As she begins to close in on the truth, the ruthless Vlane–an alpha Fae who makes sex an addiction for human women–closes in on her. And as the boundary between worlds begins to crumble, Mac’s true mission becomes clear: find the elusive Sinsar Dubh before someone else claims the all-powerful Dark Book–because whoever gets to it first holds nothing less than complete control of the very fabric of both worlds in their hands….
