Book Review: SWEET EVIL SERIES by Wendy Higgins

Hey,everyone! I'm here with not just a book review now; it's a book series review!! This is the first time I 'm doing this, so I'm a little excited :)) I assure you I picked one of my favorite series to review. I'm going to introduce the books and shortly review them. I hope you'll enjoy! :)

1- SWEET EVIL by Wendy Higgins

Embrace the Forbidden
What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?
This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.
Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

I love Sweet Evil soo much. This is the first book in the series. Sweet Evil is a full of enjoyable adventure for me. This book is just want I want to read at the moment. Full of amazing characters, irresistible romance, Kaidan Rowe and other lots of things...

Kaidan and Anna's relationship is so realistic and interesting for me. I definitely enjoyed their relationship and want them to be together so bad!! But if the Dukes see their feelings for each other, bad things happened. So if they will together, they need to be careful.

I love the plot too. So interesting and doesn't sound like other angel-demon books. Nephs have to do their job because of their father; Dukes. There are 12 Dukes and they sembolize one of deadly sins. For example: Kaidan's father Pharzuph sembolize Lust. Interesting, isn't it? :)

Anyway, read this book. You will not disappoint :))

4 Sweet Owls to Sweet Evil

2- SWEET PERIL by Wendy Higgins

Anna Whitt, the daughter of a guardian angel and a demon, promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a vow. She’d been naive about a lot of things.
Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means embracing her dark side and earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind.
When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?
Sweet Peril is the second book of the series. I think Sweet Series gets much better and better in this book. More action, intrigue, romance... I fell in love with Kaidan much more... Anna is more mature in this book.

You should read Sweet Peril if you enjoyed the first book. :))

3- SWEET RECKONING by Wendy Higgins

It’s time.
Evil is running rampant and sweet Anna Whitt is its target. Nobody knows when or how the Dukes will strike, but Anna and her Nephilim allies will do anything necessary to rid the earth of the demons and their oppressive ways.
The stakes are higher than ever, and Anna is determined that the love she feels will be her strength, not a liability. But trying to protect the ones she loves while running for her life and battling demonic forces proves to be perilous—especially as faces are changing and trust is fleeting. When the Duke of Lust sends Anna’s great love, Kaidan Rowe, to work against her, Anna must decide how much she’s prepared to risk.
In the most sensual and fast-paced installment yet, Sweet Reckoning brings all the beloved Neph together one last time to fight for their freedom.

THIS. BOOK. Let me tell you how perfect it is.
Sweet Reckoning is one of the book you'll never forget. Unstopping action, amazing characters, perfect world-building and irresistible romance.. I love and adore this book. I finished it in 4 days and it stunned me so much. I don't want to see this ended but I just want to see what happened next and I realized I just finished this book. Full of perfection. Glad to read this series. Especially the final one though.. :)

5 Things shows you should read Sweet Trilogy:

1- A really different angel-demon book for YA lovers: For me, it's interesting so you can give a try :)
2- Enjoyable dialogs: Especially for Blake, Marna and all of the characters for sure :))
3- Amazing romance: We have a lot of couples to ship, do you want to learn? Just read it :))
4- Perfect world-building: I know I tell that before but.. it really is for me :D
5- Realistic time passings: This is because I don't like just one week time for fell in love or reunite, that needs time to have feelings. This book is great for that one too.

Book Review: ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS by Stephanie Perkins

Can Anna find love in the City of Light?
Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theater, who is just starting to return her affection. So she's less than thrilled when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year.
But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna meets some cool new people, including the handsome Étienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, he's taken —and Anna might be, too. Will a year of romantic near misses end with the French kiss she's waiting for?

I'm here with a lot of reviews today!! I know I haven't updated so much reviews in these days but I read lots of amazing books and I can't wait to share my own opinions to you!! :)

At first, I decided to review Anna and The French Kiss -which looks a cute romance and definitely it is-. I read this book after I finished Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken.( I will post my Never Fade's review too. ) I usually want to read a sweet contemporary read after dystopian books so when I looked at my shelf, I saw this book and started to read it. I really loved it and I finished in 3 days. If you want to read a really enjoyable and realistic contemporary read, I will recommend this book to you.

Besides I sometimes don't like contemporary books, I generally read fantasy books but this book and Fangirl is my favorite contemporary reads so far.

Let's talk about the characters and events...

I love Anna so much. She knows what she wants and she shows what she feels. She's kind, understandable and sweet. Anna and St. Clair's relationship and friendship are my favorite thing in this book. They're so realistic and I have to admit that sometimes seeing them apart makes me annoyed and the major element for this situation is St. Clair. But then we understood him and accept his reasons and started to love him again :D

Anyway, so much things happened through the end and the last 100 pages are makes me swoon and interest more for the book. I actually plan to give 4.5 stars for this book but the last 100 pages makes me give full stars for this amazing adventure!! :))

I can't wait to read more books by Stephanie Perkins because her writing style is amazing and addicting. I don't want to finish this amazing book but at the same time I just want to learn what happens next.

By the way, this book makes me want to visit Paris soo much!! I just want to go to Paris and see Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Point Zero.., I just want to feel their emotions..

“I love you as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul.”

Etienne St. Clair...
He is one of the boy you can't resist to falling in love with him. Anna tried to deny but it's so late for everything. He is cute, funny, have a great sense of humor, intelligent... He is to die for. He is American also British and also French. (I don't know how it's even possible but yeah anyway that's cool :D) He has irresistibly amazing British accent. CUTE ALL THE WAY!!!
“For the two of us, home isn't a place. It is a person. And we are finally home.”

AMAZING BOOK!!!

MIND-BLOWING!!!

If you love to read  contemporary books with cute romance, wonderful characters and amazing book boyfriend all sets in Paris, you should definitely have to read 'Anna and The French Kiss' :))))

“Will you please tell me you love me? I’m dying here.”

“I mean, really. Who sends their kid to boarding school? It's so Hogwarts. Only mine doesn't have cute boy wizards or magic candy or flying lessons.”

“Why is it that the right people never wind up together? Why are people so afraid to leave a relationship, even if they know it's a bad one?”
“I'm saying I'm in love with you! I've been in love with you this whole bleeding year!”
